KING COUNTY

YDF provides grants and scholarships to delinquent and at-risk youth in King County in cases where all other resources have been exhausted.  YDF funds allow motivated youth to pursue educational, vocational and therapeutic goals.

Each year, YDF assists approximately 20 area youth agencies - such as YouthCare, YMCA, Independent Living, Central Youth and Family Services, and Denny Place Youth Shelter - through quarterly financial grants.  These funds help pay for clothing, school supplies, transportation and other needs that the agencies would not otherwise be able to provide for program participants.
